When you use our platform, we may collect:

Account Information

  • Authentication provider details (e.g. Google login)

Uploaded Content

  • Documents uploaded for plagiarism or AI analysis
  • Text input provided to AI tools

Usage Data

  • Browser type, device information, and IP address
  • Pages visited and features used
  • Cookies for session management (no third-party tracking cookies)

2. How We Use Information

We use collected data to:

  • Provide plagiarism detection and AI content analysis services
  • Generate AI writing assistance
  • Improve system performance and reliability
  • Prevent misuse, fraud, or abuse
  • Communicate service updates

3. AI Processing

Documents uploaded to the platform are processed by AI systems to generate analysis results. AI responses are informational and assistive only and should not be treated as academic guarantees. Your documents are not used to train AI models.

4. Data Storage & Security

User data is securely stored using Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure in the EU region. We apply industry-standard security controls including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access restrictions, and regular security reviews.

5. Data Retention

Uploaded documents are stored for up to 90 days to allow users to access analysis results. Account data is retained while your account is active. Users may request deletion at any time by contacting legal@infopro.ng.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data and account
  • Withdraw consent for data processing

7. Third-Party Services

We rely on the following third-party services:

  • Amazon Web Services — cloud hosting and data storage
  • Google — OAuth authentication
  • Anthropic — AI processing (Claude)

Each provider maintains their own privacy policy. We do not sell or share your data with advertisers.

8. Children's Privacy

Our platform is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the platform evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes indicates acceptance.
